The dust from COVID-19 pandemic is far from settling down. Apart from the ramifications, there have been advances accelerated at an impeccable rate, one being the increase in the usage of digital products. Specifically, in Singapore, the 8-weeks long Circuit Breaker has impacted the lifestyle of employees significantly; based on a research on 2700 respondents, 8 out of 10 Singapore employees prefer this arrangement to continue.

We’ve seen businesses make adjustments on their real estate - downsizing or expanding, one of the few common threads is the realization that workplaces need to transform, we want more value in the same amount of space. What’s the goal of the new era office? Is it brand exposure? A collaborative hub? How do we make a resilient workplace?

Teleconference rooms, cloud collaboration services, are among the tools that enable us to work remotely. When we do return to the office, we can imagine seeing workplaces become highly scalable and mobile spaces, equipped with techs such as virtual/aug reality: merging the physical and digital world - or touchless gadgets, to prevent another spread. What the future may bring to workplaces, we’re ready to explore.
